What is a Cosmetic Self-Evaluation?

A Cosmetic Self-Evaluation is an interactive online tool to help you determine if you are a good candidate for a cosmetic procedure. While this is not a substitute for a full Cosmetic Consultation from an experienced plastic surgeon, it is a great first step in the plastic surgery research process.

The Self-Evaluation will allow you to select areas of concern, such as your face, breasts/chest, back, arms, abdomen, genitalia, buttocks, thighs or lower legs. It asks you to explain why you are considering either a surgical or non-invasive procedure. Answer choices may include statements such as, “I would like to…

  • Look younger
  • Revitalize my appearance
  •  Make a physical change
  • Improve my health

The Self-Evaluation may also take into effect your current medical health and your medical history.
When all of the details are submitted, the Evaluation tallies the information and provides an immediate, personalized result as to which procedure(s) might produce the results you desire. You may be surprised at the outcome! You can use this information to further research your options or as back-up information to share during your full Cosmetic Consultation with a surgeon.

Dr. Fan at 77 Plastic Surgery in San Fransisco offers a free Cosmetic Self-Evaluation on his website at 77plasticsurgery.com. If you are considering a cosmetic procedure, we encourage you to take the quick assessment to see what might be best for your unique situation.
